PUKETURUA
There is a remarkable supply of feed available in Puketurua district this winter. One farmer is feeding a Matamata herd of 60 cattle on turnips independent of his own 50 animals. The farmer KjLreceiving £6 15s per acre for thVteen acres for feeding. On another place an oat crop of thirteen tons to the acre is being grown. The Puketurua Dairy Co. have paid Is 10i-d per lb for butter fat i for the season to their nine suppliers, and purpose paying another 2d per lb bonus next month. Another vat will be installed at the factory for next season.
