On Friday afternoon at her residence, Peria, Mrs Johnson, in view of tho approaching marriage of her sister, Miss Fletf/ontertained a number of friends. .Among those present were Mesdames Wilcox, Stanley, Jackson, Mogford, Fagan, Day, Crabb, Thompson, Buchanan, Ba 11, Flett, Crowther, Kelso, Egan, Wallace, Turkington, Misses Fagan, Bates, Robinson, Day, Richards, Crabb, Kelso and Malloy. A dainty afternoon tea was served, after which songs wore rendered by Mrs Buchanan, Misses Robinson, Flett, Fagan, and pianoforte solos by Misses Fagan and Malloy.
