ON THE SCREEN.

During the holidays a number of Auckland picture fans have had the opportunity of attending at the Matamata pictures, and judging from the romarks of one it is quite evident that all the appointments were thoroughly appreciated. Especially was this so in connection with the class and quality of film submitted and the excellent screening. These ' the visitor considered were not outclassed by anything in Auckland. On Saturday another good pro-' gramme will be screened includ- i ing a pathetic, beautiful story, r entitled “ Red Cap Decides-’’ The I “ Mystery of the Double Gross ” i which is proving so attractive will bo shown in its ninth instalment. The lastest Gaumont graphic will complete a programe that is very attractive.
