MATAMATA SHOW.

Date Fixed.

For some months there has been a certain anxiety among exhibitors in the Matamata and Waikato districts especially as to whether the Matamata Show would be held as usual. Those in close touch with affairs knew that there were little grounds for the feeling, as providing the epidemic did not continue the association would go on with the fixture. Exhibitors will therefore be pleased to learn that the date—March 20th—decided upon by the committee was approved of by the executive at a meeting held on Friday night. The secretary reported that in response to his invitations the donations are as generous as the previous year, while he had yet ground to cover. Various members expressed themselves as quite pleased and satisfied with the position and predicted that the “ Peace year show” would be quite in keeping with the association’s past endeavors.
