PUTARURU.

Two Putaruru properties have been disposed of by Mr R. Alcorn during the last few days, 428 acres, on the Waotu road, miles from Putaruru being sold to Mr M. Reardon, and Mr Poufhar’s 100 acres-about a mile from the station being acquired by Mr F. C. Hills, of Maraetai. Mr Reardon recently disposed of a Putaruru property to go into camp. Good progress is being made with the grading work on the town streets, but owing to the magnitude of the work it will be some months before it is completed. Three new buildings are being erected —two shops and one house. The shops are for furniture warehouse, and general store, respectively. The house is being erected in the township for Mr W. C. Hewitt. Mr F. C. Flyger has completed the erection of a nice bungalow house on his section behind the Catholic church.
