We regret to have to record the death of Mr J. H. Martin, of Walton, which occurred on Saturday morning. Mr Martin came to the district some 12 months ago from Gisborne, but in the short period ho has been a resident here made many friends, who will extend to the widow and young daughter their sincere sympathy. Mr Martin Avas 48 years of age. The cause of death was pneumonia following an attack of influenza. The funeral took place at Morrinsville on Monday.
