HUNGAHUNGA DRAINAGE BOARD Rates 1918-19 NOTICE is hereby given in terms of Section 50 of the “ Rating Act, 1908,” that it is the intention of the Hungahunga Drainage Board at its meeting to be held at Te Aroha on SATURDAY, the 2nd day of November, 1918, at noon, to make and levy under Section 31 of the “Land Drainage Act, 1908,” and Section 33 of the “ Land Drainage Amendment Act, 1913,” a rate upon the unimproved value and on a graduated scale according to classification of land in the Hungahunga Drainage District as follows : —Upon lands classified “A ” one penny, upon lands classified “ B ” %d, and upon lands classified “C” one half-penny all per pound on the rateable value for the period from the Ist day of April, 1918, to the 31st day of March, 1919. To levy special annual recurring interest rates on (1) A loan of £3OOO over a part of the district as follows : —“On “ A ” lands one fourth of a penny, upon “B" lands l-16th, upon “C ” one thirty-second of a penny. (2) On a loan of £4,400 over a part of the district, upon “A” lands three-eights of one penny, upon “B” lands id, upon “C” lands one-sixteenth of a penny, and (3) On a loan of £4950 over a part of district, upon “A” lands upon “B” lands one farthing, and upon “C” lands id, (4) On a loan of £4950 over a special rating area (Southern) on “A” lands 4d, upon “ B ” lands 3d, and upon “C ” lands 2d, all payable in one sum to the undersigned on the 16th day of November, 1918, at the office of the Board, Council Chambers, Rewi-street, Te Aroha, where the Valuation Roll and Ratepayers’ List are now open for inspection.
