The monthly meeting of the Okauia Farmers' union was held on Monday. An unusual amount of correspondence was read, and the circular relating to a proposal to organise a Farmers' Union Mutual Fire and Accident Insurance department in connection with the Thames Valley Sub-provincial movement led to a lengthy discussion.
