THANKS

AS the Red Cross campaign is now closed I cannot let the opportunity pass without expressing my sincere thanks to those residents of Turanga-o-moana and Okauia, and all others who gave us their valued assistance in helping to raise money for the fund. I must also thank our secretary, Mr F. Arnold, and the the Matamata secretary of the executive, Mr H. W. Smales, who gave us every assistance possible. A special word of thanks is due to the chairman of the executive, Mr J. Price, and his wife, both having been very loyal workers for the good cause. Mr Price practically put his time at our disposal, and took the heaviest of the work off my hands. As an old resident I am more than pleased to know that Matamata has nobly done her duty, both as regards men and money. H. R. HARDING, Turanga-o-moana District Representative.
