WALTON.

The debating society held their ' fortnightly meeting on Tuesday evening when a very interesting discussion took place on " Should all aliens be interned ? " The subject chosen for next debate was " Should spinster and bachelors over 30 years be taxed ? " On Wednesday evening the Glee club entertained Pvte. A. Mapp at a social evening, when the members presented him with a fountain pen as a slight token of their appreciation of his services. All joined in wishing him God speed and a safe return.
