A fire broke out at the Methodist parsonage, Ma tamatayye s terday morning-, at about 8.45. Fortunately many willing helpers were quickly at hand, and the fire was caught in the incipient stage, being put out in about fifteen minutes. The fire started near the hot water reservoir, and the damage, apart from that done by water, was to the timber adjacent, and to the roof. Credit is due to several persons who directed operations.
