"I WILL REPAY."
The long-looked for 0. Henry story as a subject for film drama will be found in " I Will Repay," the Vitagraph filmisation of "A Municipal Report," one of the most famous of the American master storyteller tales. The leading role is taken by Corinne Griffiths, the Vitagraph's blonde beauty who has risen so rapidly to stardom. The plot, as may be expected, is most unusual. It turns on the adventures of a young newspaper man. who is sent to a Southern town to make r an exclusive contract with a I young lady writer there. He *■ finds her to be an old lady with a worthless dissolute husband. '• The murder of the latter, the exposure of a secret drinking den run "by a mulatto woman of great beauty, and the mystery surrounding the household of the gentle old lady, are all cleared up through the wanderings of a torn one dollar bill. A programme well out of the ordinary V-is completed with a comedy, a -Gaumont graphic and an Industrial film.
