PATETERE.

The Patetere riding has followed the.lead set by Matamata, and has decided to hold an interriding Queen carnival in aid of the “Copper Trail” campaign. The following ladies have been nominated to represent the various districts : Miss Kathleen Harkness (Te Poi and Hinuera), Miss Callaghan (Okoroire) and Miss Litchfield (Tirau). At the last meeting of the Auckland Education board it was decided that the name of the school here shall be altered from “ Hinuera Valley ” to “ Pairere.”
