CHEESE FACTORY RETURNS.
The cheese factory returns for the past month indicate the arrival of winter, but both Tatua and Sunny Park have an increase over the corresponding month of last year. NORFOLK. The amount of milk received was 131954 lbs giving 5526 lbs butter fat. The payments were £414 at Is 6J per lb and the average test 4.1. The figures for the corresponding month of last year were milk 133696 lbs, butter fat 5483 lbs, payments £320 at Is 2d per lb. TATUA. Milk received amounted to 241717 lbs giving 10110 lbs butter fat. The cheques paid out totalled £758 at Is 6d per lb and the average test was 4.1. The figures for the corresponding month of last year were milk 197834 lbs, butter fat 8700 lbs, cheques £616 at Is 5d per lb, average test 4.3. SUNNY PARK. Milk received totalled 73404 lbs giving 3257 lbs butter fat. The payments were £244 at Is 6d per lb and the average test was 4.4. Last year’s figures were milk 66302 lbs, butter fat 3034 lbs, cheques £234 at Is 6£d per lb, average test 4.5.
