For Chronic Chest Complaints, Woods’ Great Peppermint Cure. 1/6, 2/6 Lieut.-Colonel It. C. Allen, D.S.O. who returned to New Zealand last week, arrived in Mon-insvillo on Saturday. A large number of friends were pin sent at the railway station to give him a hearty welcome. Lieut.Colonel Allen looked very well, and desires to return to the front as soon as possible. Lieut.-Colonel R. C. Allen left in charge of the 9th reinforcements. In Egypt ho was given the command of the 6th Hauraki, Ist Auckland battulion, and when in France took over the command of the battalion on the appointment of Colonel Plugge as director of physical training. He was wounded on’ the first day of the battle of Messines.
