HORTICULTURAL SHOW.

Points Prizes. The following are the points prizes gained at the Morrinsville Horticultural show in the various sections: — Vegetables: W. Bearsley. Cut flowers: G. B. Simpson.* Decorative: Mrs Thynne. Fruit: Mrs Ellis. Home Industries : Mrs Proudlock 1, Mrs Davies 2. There was keen competition in this section there being one point between the first and second exhibitors, and the same difference between the second and third (Mrs T. G. Smith). To make any function a success entails hard work for some people. In our report of Wednesday’s show we omitted the name of one of the most strenuous workers of the society —Mr H. Hill. On the day of the show and prior to the show he was most indefatigable, and for a second year was head of the hall committee —no sinecure. For Influenza take Woods’ Great Peppermint Cure. Never fails. 1/0, 2/6.
