WAIHOU. There was another big yarding of stock, especially young cattle at the Farmers’ Auctioneering Co.’s stock sale at Waihou on Friday. The attendance was good, but competition was not keen for sheep or young cattle. Pigs sold freely, and there was a ready demand for grown cattle especially beef, the latter showing a rise of about £1 per head.
