Among the starters in a hack race at Hamilton, on Saturday, was Mr W. Livingstone's Silver Lode. The son of Bunyan ran a very creditable race for live furlongs and should benefit by the gallop. x The Matamata-owned Ring Lupin was sent out an odds-on favorite for the Farewell handicap at Hamilton on Saturday last. Although the chestnut got the best of a good start he failed to see the journey out, and consequently much Matamata money was "lent" for the time being. The going was evidently not to the horses liking, but there will be a day when it will be. TO MOTORISTS VULCANISING Without perishing your Tubes It will pay you. Returned in 24 hours, postage paid.
