A Son of the Hills. In " A Son of the Hills," the 5000 ft dramajto be screened at Matamata on Saturday, " Greater Vitagraph" have accomplished a work of more than ordinary interest. It features Antonio Moreno and a new Vitagraph woman star, Belle Bruce. The latter is adorable, full of sweet mannerisms and possesses great emotional power. The story is founded on one of the deep emotional forces of human nature. A young man finds that the dull life of his country town is unbearable, and dreams of wider opportunities and freer life in a great city. He leaves, and makes a success of his business career. On coming back however, filled with the idea of uplifting his townsfolk, he finds that one of His dearest dreams is shattered. The girl of whom he had dreamed has been trapped into marriage by a clever scoundrel. The rest of the story concerns itself with the unmasking of the villain, and the final attainment of their hearts desire by hero and heroine, i The story abounds with dramatic sit uations, and the setting and photography are up to the usual high standard of Greater Vitagraph. In addition to the attractive " star " picture the celebrated L. K. comedy "Where is my Wife " will be screened. This is a film of 2,000 ft which for numerous situations is said to stand with the best of comedies, Gaumont Graphic No 651 will complete the programme.
