MOBEINSVILLE. . There .was a small yarding at the Fanners' Auctioneering Coy's Morrinsville sale on Friday. Sheep and fat cows sold well, but other lines of cattle were dull. Fat cows make £ll Is to £l3, Mr M. McDonald topping the market, fresh conditioned cows £9 17s (id to £lO 15s, store cows £7 15s to £9, fat heifers £9 2s to £9 12s, 2to 3 year steers £lO 2s 6d to £ll 5s for a line yarded by Mr F. P. Griffen, weaner calves £2 15s to £3 10s, heavy bulls 10 gna to 16i gns, dairy cows £lO to £l2 ss, dairy heifers £7 5s to £7 12s 6d, sheep, fat ewes 32s 6d to 345, 4-tooth light wethers 355, 2-tooth prime wethers and ewes yarded by Mr F. Hawkins made 345, ewes and lambs 28s to 31s, pigs, weaners 9s to 17s, slips 17s Gd to 295, light porkers 20s to 395. MATAMATA. Dalgety and Co. Ltd. had a large yarding at their monthly sale at Matamata on Wednesday, when ruling rates were maintained. There was little demand lor calves or dairy stock. Prices were:— Cattle, fresh dropped calves 13s to 20s, yearling steers £6 15s to £7 17s, 15 to 18 'month lreifers £C 5s to £7 15s, store cows £7 10s to £9 2s 6d, cow and calves £9 5s to£lo 10s, fat.cows £loss to £l2 10s, bulls £8 to £l2, springing heifers £8 15s to £9 10s, dairy cows to £l2.
