No Time for Overstayers
It would become expensive business for the Labour Department’s Immigration section to track down overstayers from now on. Sources from the Department say a number of immigration officers are worried about working at night tracking down overstayers and not getting any overtime for it. The officers are soon to be sent out in pairs for night work which will be expensive for the Labour Department if they decide to pay up for their officers’ extra work hours.
