Assembly Dissolved

The Premier of the Cook Islands, Sir Albert Henry, has announced over the radio in the Cook Islands that the Legislative Assembly of the Cook Islands is to be dissolved. Sir Albert claimed that there was no need for the existence of the Legislative Assembly, but he failed to give an explanation. Sir Albert stated in the ‘Cook Islands News' that he and his Cabinet shall be the Caretaker government till the result of the snap election comes out sometime in April.
