How can I tell you of this havoc in my mind?
I am torn in two Half Black and Half White What am 1 really? Do 1 treat the other side of me inferiority? Do I restrict my Black side like others? 1 was born out of wedlock An accident that should never have been. Shall I deny myself certain rights? Can I ever be an individual? Will I ever be treated as somebody? Do 1 belong anywhere? I do not understand the ways of my Aboriginal Ancestors. 1 will never be accepted as one of the Whites.
