PACIFIC ISLANDS SUPPLEMENTARY TEACHER TRAINING COURSE A two-year full time course of supplementary teacher training may be held at Wellington and Auckland Teachers Colleges, for Pacific Island Trained Teachers already resident in New Zealand. The purpose of the course is to provide an opportunity for further training which can lead to the award to a New Zealand Trained Teachers Certificate, so that teachers can take up positions in New Zealand. The course will be varied to suit the needs of individual teachers.
