Stumps.—The match you mention, though doubtless important in the eyes of the two gentlemen engaged in it, was scarcely of sufficient interest to the public at large for us to publish the score. Spectator.—On occasions of general festivity, we think private feeling ought to be sunk as far as possible. We are not aware that the sports were as unfortunate as you say; and for other reasons we think your letter is scarcely worth publishing. John Walters and George Stewart. — Tour letters are unavoidably postponed till our next.
