Sydney, October 20. Cafirey, Penn, and Lizzie Graham, charged with the Barrier Island murdee, were brought up at the police court to-day, and remauded to Auckland. • The festivities in connection with the Municipel Jubilee will be concluded to-morrow. Melbourne, October 20. The Manager of the National Mortgage Company of New Zealand reports on the local grain market as follows :—Shipping wheat is quieter and weaker, and is now 5s 8d to 5s 4d; malting barley is dull at from 8s 9d to 4s 4d ; New Zealand feeding oats are quieter at from 8s Id to 8s 4d; New Zealand milling oats are rather weaker, and are now from 8s 4d to 8s sd; New Zealand oats in bond are slow of sale at from 2s 5d to 2s 7d. Adelaide, October 20. Considerable excitement has arisen here over the discovery of gold at Waukaringa. A large number of men have left for and are still proceeding to the field. Many miners have also baen attracted from Wallaroo, and Moonta.
