Tliis meeting was held last Morula; and Tuesday. The stewards were nnabl. to get the six events through the first da; and decided to continue them into tlisecond. A most enjoyable two day.sport was the result, and we can safrh say that most of the visitors assembled only regretted that a third day could no: have been arranged. Smith's an on the second evening one at Mr Oxnani': On each occasion Messrs Laing and O'Rourke provided the music, and gav« general satisfaction. -The profuse manner in which refreshments were provided, and the general kindly attention paid to visitors, cannot easily be forgotten. We append results of the six events : Hack Rack, of 5 sovs. Mr Campell's Lucy, 7st 1 Mr Smeaton's Corr.e. Mr Huldlestone's Running River. Bst. 3 Mr Byrne's Enterprise, 7st 01b, also ran. Buller Plate Handicap, of 10 sovs. Mr MvDovvall's Jilt, 7st 121b 1 Mr Trower's Syringa, Bst slb 2 Mr Campbell's Lucy, Bst 3 Hack Rack, of 5 sovs. Mr A. Smith's Jack, 8;t 1 Mr Kaite's Vernurll, 8 t 2 Only two horses started for this event, Jack winning rather easily. Hack Race, of 5 sovs. Mr Smith's Jack, Bst 1 Mr Gibbon's Wouldn't You Like to Know, Bst 2 Jack also pulled off this eveut with ease. Hack Race, of 5 sovs. Mr M'Dowall's Jilt. Bst 7ib 1 Mr Smeaton's Corrie, Consolation Handicap, of 5 sovs. Syringa walked over for this event.
