Perth, January 2. The German barque Mire Flora, of 500 tons, bound from London to Freeman tie, has struck on a reef to the northward of Kottenest Island, and has become a total wreck. HobarT, February 3. Tn the Federal Council to-day Mr Griffith's bill, fixing the status of foreign companies, was trader discussion, and after a long debate the consideration of the subject was adjourned. On the motion of Mi Lee Steere a resolution was passed recommending united action on the part of the Colonies with the Imperial Government in the fortification of Albany and Torres Straits.
