Public Notices. SANDER & SONS' Eucalypti Extract

(Deutsche Meet; Woclienschrift 1579) Mdsler, M.D., Professor at the University 3reifswald, Germany, reports : The Eucalypti Extract proved magnificently successful in very severe contusions, bruises, sprains, wounds, scaldings, broken ribs, and limbs. It effectually stays all inflammation and swelling. Also, the services derived from it in all disorders of the respiratory organs, as croup, diptheria, inflammation of the bronchial tubes and lungs, chronic catarrh, bronchitis, colds, &c, are not to be equalled by any other medic;: rn'ent. Sander & Sons Eucalypti Extract Lister, M.D., Professor, &c., London, the Leading surgeon of the present time, stated at the last meeting of the Clinical Society, London, as published in Gaillard's Medical Journal, that the Eucalypti Extract is the best known antiseptic (means of preventing putrefaction). Sander & Sens Eucalypti Extract (American Medical Journal, November, 1881).—In diseases of the kidney, either active congestion or suppression (uraemia) all albuminuria, dropsy, lithiasis, nothing will equal in its action Eucalypti Extract. Doses, live to eight drops in a little sweetened water twice or three times daily. Sander & Sons Eucalypti Extract (From American Medical Journal, Jan., 1882).—Pitzer, M.D., Professor Theory and Practice of Medicine, American Medical College, says :—lt is the best remedy known iu typhomalarial, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diphtheria, scarlet fever, smallpox, &c,; it effectually retards the disintegration of the animal fluids, which might result in a general breaking-up of the blood and in death. Sander & Sons Eucalypti Extract (From St. Louis Electric Medical Journal, Dec, 1881). —Cancer of the Tongue—Patient,-Mrs. , 35 years old. Evidence of scrofulous diathesis. Prescribed four drops to be taken three times dau!y ; also, tongue wetted three times with the Eucalypti Extract. Treated as above for four weeks, then discharged cured.

Ruttley, M.D., Prof., &c, Philadelphia).—Since, in the case of Mr Mercer, of Kerang, who had been advised by the Medical officers of the Bendigo Hospital to have his tongue removed, like splendid results have attained through the application of the Eucalypti Extract. Sander & Sons Eucalypti Extract From the Clinical Record, of August, 1881). Surgical Clinic of Prolessor M'Jntyre, College of Physicians and Surgeons, St. Louis—Scirrhus of BreastExcision : Eucalypti Extract employed as spray, and dressing. Eight days after operation Professors Bauer and M'lntyre noted the following condition : No swelling, heat or discoloration, near or in the wound, which has united fully; the patient allowed to attend to her household duties again. Sander & Sons Eucalypti Extract (Clinical Kecord, Sept, 1880). The American medical profession uses, in gonorrhoea, as an iujection, an emulsion of one ounce gum Arabic, in 30 or 40 ounces of water, applied four times daily. Eight drops given inwardlv, once daily, prevents effectually contamination of the" blood in foul disease.

CAUTION. Sander & Sons Eucalypti Extract (St. Lous Clinical Record, Jan. 1882K —Hazard, M.D. Prof of Pathology and Diseases of the Mind, states: We' have examined half a dozen specimens of Eucalypti Extract. Sander's prepar ition was the only one which corresponds to scientific tests. Our preparation is the only existing volatile extract, free of all resinous particles. All other preparations of the Eucalyptus, no matter where manufactured, are crude, resinous oils, irritating and blistering, rather causing inflammation than staying it, and of real danger if errcnously applied in throat diseases, &c. No bottles genuine except those with labels bearing our signature and trade mark, and secured outside with a pink wrapper and green band, the latter bearing our location and signature.
