THE Letter Box will be cleared for the 1 despatch of Correspondence from the Lyell Office to the following places, and Mails arrive, as under : outwards : For Westport, Inangahua Junction, Cronadun, Boatman's, Reefton, and all southern correspondence: Sunday, Wed- ! nesday and Friday, at 9 a.m. For White's Point, Fern Flat, Owen River, Nelson, and all northern corres- , pondence : Tuesday, Thursday and Satinday, at 1.80 p.m. For Melbourne and Australian Colonies; Wednesday, at 9 a.m. MAILS ARRIVE : From Westport. Inangahua Junction. Cronadun, Boatman's, Reefton, &c.: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, at 2 p.m. From White's Point, Fern Flat, Owen River, Nelson, &c.: Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday, at 9.39 a.m. From Longford, Murchison. and Matakitaki: Wednesday and Sunday, at 9.80 a.m. N.B.—Letters containing anything of value should be handed to the Postmaster to be registered. Letters containing coiu, if posted unregistered, will be compulsorily registered and charged double registration fee. INFORMATION respecting the whereabouts and occupation of the undermentioned persons is WANTED by the Secretary of the General Post Office : Mr Phillip Horlock Farrell, builder, who left England about fifteen years ago for this Colony. C. Fagg, who used to be at Hindon, and about two years since left Dunedin for Sydney, according to an order he sent the Chief Postmaster, Dunedin. He is inquired t for by his sister in Dover, England. Mb Augustus Dillon, last heard of in ; Wellington some time ago. He is an actor, and is supposed to have left Wellington with a small theatrical company. Mr Frank Turner, of London. He but cannot be traced there. H. G. YOUNGMAN, Postmaster.
