SOLDIERS ' SOCIAL HALL.
ENTERTAINMENT BY WOMEN'S NATIONAL RESERVE. A most enjoyable entertainment in aid of the Soldiers’ Social Hall in Cathedral Square was given in the Choral Hall last night, before a very largo audience, by the members of tho Womeoi’s" National . Reserve. The first part of the programme consisted of some very graceful dances by Mesdames Mallwork and Edgar and Misses Buckhurst, Shand and Vincent, a duet by Mr and Mrs Irving and vocal items by Mrs V. Irving. Owing to the indisposition of Miss Shand, the accompaniments were played by Miss Livingstone. The second part of the programme was very enjoyably taken up with the play, “Cranford,” in which tho characters were sustained by Misses Trent, Col-bome-Veal, K. Lovell-Sniith, Kitchingman, C. Colborne-Veel, Reithmuller, G-underseu J. Dawe, W. Vincent and Cowan and Mesdames Evans and Mooney.
