A REVOLTING CASE.
[Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, September 29. HcvoLting details, were disclosed in a case in the Magistrate’s Court in which a man named Matthew Cornwell was charged with an offence 'under tho War Regulations. It appeared that Cornwell induced tho wife of a soldier on activo service, a woman who was previously of good repute, to lead an immoral life. He took all her earnings. The Magistrate described Cornwell as “a low-down brute,” and imposed a (sentence of nine months' imprisonment;
