The wheat and! flour afloat,for the United Kingdom total 2,235,000 quarters, and for the Continent 8,160,000 quarters. Atlantic shipments total 606,000 Quarters and Pacific nil. The total shipments for Europe are I,3JM™ quarters, of which Russia supplies 99000 quarters, India 156.000 quarters, Argentina 106,000 quarters and Australasia 97,000 quarters.

WOOL sales; [Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, September 25. The following cablegram has been received from the High Commissioner:—

Tho wool sales closed with a good demand for all classes, and orospects are favourable. The estimated value of fine cross-bred, all grades, is from Is Od to 2s;' medium crossorcda, all grades. Is 5d to Is 7d; coarse cross-breds, all grades, Is 3d to Is 6Jd, superior merino, te lOd to 2s Id; medium merino, Is 6d to Is 9d; inferior merino. Is 2Jd to Is sd. Some hundred bales of JVew Zealand wool were held ovor.
