LINCOLN DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB.
ANNUAL MEETING. Tho annual meeting of the Liucoln Defenoe Rifle Club was held on Saturday evening at Tai Tapu. Mr J. Sharp, vice-prest-dent, was in the chair. The balance-sheet showed a credit on the general account and a debit ,on the range account. The report stated that in spite of nine active- members having enlisted and a number of othors having left the district, last season had been a very successful one. It was stated that five Rons of members ot tho club had also enlisted. Representatives of the club had performed well at tho South Island and the Wairaropa championships, and in tjic intorclub match at Redoliffs tho club's fivo had finished second to the Christchurch No. 1 champion team.
