FEXDALTOXV ' The Fcnctalton- School Committee met on Friday evening; preser.t— Messrs John Thornton (chairman), and J, T. Martin, G. E. Royds, W. Moor, Cv'J: Wood and L. J. Wilkins. • :■. '.'■•■ . A motion by the chairman esoressmg tue committee's sympathy with Mr J. T. Martin in tho loss sustained by the death, in action in France, of his brother, Major A. A. Martin, R.A.M.C;, was cariied. An urgent matter considered hy the meeting was tho financial assistance required by tho Education Board necessary to secure the purchase of higher ground, adicining tho school, to supplement the existing wet playground. It was Tesolved to call a meeting of householders and go fully into tho matter of ways and means.
