BELFAST v. WOQLBUOKF.RS. Tho Belfast Social and Athletic Club opened its cricket season on Saturday with a match against the . Christchurch Auct.cuecrs and Wool brokers. The game resulted in a win for the Woolbrokors bv 39 runs. 'lhe winners made 113 (W. Clai-kson 23, A. Nichoils 10, Frasor IG, J. Woods 15 and W. Eobscn 14), and Belfast 74 (J. Mooro 15 and J. Halhgan 13). Woods and Robson bowled best for the Woolbrokers; • and A. -Brown, ■!'.. Brown' and J. Moore for Belfast. The proceeds of the match, amounting to about £45, will bo given towards tho "Our Lay" i<ed Cross appeal. '; KAIKOCRA CLUB. The annual meeting of the Kaikoura Cricket Club was held on Wednesday, Mr D. G. M'Donald presiding. The report, showing a membership of Gl, and the balance-sheet, showing a, credit of £l9 8s 6d, were adopted. Officers were elected a? follow:—Patron. Mr J. N. Flower; president, Mr L. G.
