In Mexico there abides a chameleon flower, which, as its name implies, has the peculiarity of changing colour. In the morning 'it is white, in the afternoon red, and at the approach of night it turns to a bluish tint. Another curious trait is that in tho early pan. of the day tho flower is odourless, but later exhales an exquisite scent.
