:! CHRISTCHURCH REGATTA. To-day the Christchurch Regatta will be held at Corsair Bay, and given fine weather the event promises to be a great success.! The entries include all the local clubs and interest will be
.added to the events by tho presence of crews from Port Chalmers and VelAiigton. Should the weather prove unfavourable for the course at Corsair Bay the committee has inspected a course at Purau and the regatta can be held there should circumstances make it necessary. This event has always , held a popular place in public opinion' and arrangements have been made for the accommodation of the public. •
