THURSDAY ASSOCIATION. The competitions were continued yesterday in fane weather, Sunnyside scored a three-point win from Railway and Telegraph a two-point from Sydenham. Sunnyside and Telegraph will meet in the final at Sunnyside on Thursday. Tho following are the positions of the teams at the end of tho second round: —Telegraph 16 points, Sunnysido 16 points, Sydenham 9 points, Railway 3 points. Hotel Employees withdrew at tho end of the first round. Following aro the details of yesterday’s play:— SUNNYSIDE v. RAILWAY. Railway, who had made 92 and 21 for four wickets in reply to Sunnyside’s total of 80 continued batting and reached 47 for six wickets. Three wickets fell for no runs, Cusworth doing the hat trick, and the side were all out for 60. Sunnyside with 73 to win opened with Norman and Marks, but the latter was out at ten. Two wickets were down for 28, but Norman and Hibberd got the required number of runs. Norman was unbeaten with 53 to his credit, and scored all round the wicket. In I the follow on Sydenham started well, Watson and M’Pherson carrying the J total to 60 before tho former was out for 36. M’Pherson soon followed -with 29 to his credit, made by fine free strokes. Four wfekets were down for 110, then Maefarlane and Winsor played a good partnership, carrying the total to 244 for four wickets, both batsmen scoring fast all round the wicket.
