MARCONI AFFAIR.

VISCOUNT MURRAY'S TRANS-

ACTIONS,

THE PROPOSED COMMITTEE OF INQUIRY.

By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. LONDON, February 24.

It. is stated that the Law Lords, including Lords of Appeal, ■ also Lords Mersey and Radnor, have declined to serve on the committee which the Marquis of Lansdowne proposes to set up to inquire into Viscount Murray's Marconi share transactions. Viscount Milner also .refuses.

Some newspapers urge Lord Murray to inform the committee that Lord Lansdowne's allusions are meaningless, unless they imply allegation of corruption, in which case he will take other means of dealing with them. '
