THE OUTBREAK IN AUSTRALIA.
NEW SOUTH WALES DECLINES TO PAY THE BILL. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright MELBOURNE, February 24. The New South Wales Government has declined to pay a bill of £7OOO, presented by the Federal Ministry, representing the State’s indebtedness in connection with the smallpoxx outbreak. The matter will be brought before a conference of Premiers. SYDNEY, February 24. A child at Singleton has been attacked by smallpox.
