CHRISTCHURCH REGATTA

The Christchurch Regatta will be held on Saturday at Corsair Bay. Good entries have been received from Otago, Canterbury and Wellington, the latter province especially entering many crew 6. The committee has engaged the steamers Canterbury, Purau and John Anderson to carry passengers to and from Corsair Bay during the day. From a spectator’s point of view the spot selected is most suitable, as the races may be viewed from start to finish by the public. '
