Defender arrived yesterday with ,a cargo of timber from the West Coast, and will complete discharge to-day, and '• sail for Wellington, Picton and Hokitika. From London, via Cape Town and Ho- ' ~,-bart, the , Shaw, Savill and Albion Comr pany’s liner Rangatira is due at Wellington late to-night or early to-morrow inorn- ' ing. The liner is due in Lyttelton on I Friday, and will sail the same day for Melbourne. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company's liner ATawa, which left Wellington on January 10, arrived at London on Monday p. last.' . The Arawa is due to sail on the re4, turn trip on May 29. 7- Mr E. The Tyser Line Company’s Star of Australia is due at Wellington to-morrow from ' Napier, for London loading.
