INCOME TANSYDNEY, Feb. 22. The second reading of tha Income Tax Bill was carried by 47 to 21. FRAUD. ADELAIDE, Feb. 22. J, Nicholson, a Stipendiary Magistrate, has been sentenced to four years’ imprisonment for defrauding of £20,000 the Economic Building Society, to which he acted as solicitor. MURDER AND SUICIDE. PERTH, Feb. 22. Glass, the squatter, who shot hia two daughters and committed suicide, left a letter confessing the crime. It is believed he waited also for hia daughter’s lover, who, fortunately for himself, did not appear when expected.
