YESTERDAY'S MARKET. The weather waa all that could be desired, and there waa a full entry of stock. The attendance waa moderate. Stoke Sheep.—There was an unuanallj heavy entry, and the sale showed a ver> marked decline in the value of aged cross-bred ewes and merino ewea and wethers, but good young sheep were equal to former rates and sold freely. These, however, sustained their full value, the primest crossbred wethers bringing up to 17s 9d, and all well-finished sheep sold in proportion. The increase in the number of half-fat merino wethers caused considerable shrinkage in their returns, and they sold for less than those offered in lines in the store pens. Messrs H. Matson and Co.
