A mutiny of a Borious character recently occurred on board the Gorman barquo Anna Bertha, Captain Krause, at Niagpo, The crow, rough Chineio, need swords, pistole, and knives. One man was wounded with a sword, and another was shot through the hand. Tne captain saved himself by jump* ing overboard, The Knglish post-office authorities are try* ing the experiment of supplying postmen in country districts with bicycles and tricycles. This has boon done particularly in Ireland, where the distances to be traversed by foot* mcswng rs are longer than in Great Britain. The authorities are watching the experiment with a considerable degree of interest, owing to the fact that not a few casualties have occurred in the use of their new means of locomotion.
