[fimm’s Tkleseams.] MELBOURNE, Dec. 31. A telegram has been received froskOapetown, stating that there vii small-pox 'on board the Orient steamship Garonne, when she left that port for Adelaide. She is now shortly due at the latter place, and the necessary precautionary measures are being taken there. The revenue returns -for the quarter and year ended to-day, have been published. The revenue for the past quarter was £1,375,000, an increase of £124,000 compared with last year. The
