Hope of Bt Albans Lodge, H.A.0.D., was held last night, in their Lodge-room. Bro. Blrt, V.A., in the chair. There was a largo attendance of members and visitors, inolud* iu« Bro*. W. 1. Samuel* and Willsteed, D.P.’s. Afisr the nomination of officers had taken place, Bro. Samuels, D.P., presented P.A. Bro. James Hirst with a P.A. diploma, suitably framed. Bro. Hirst returned thank* for Iho handsome present, stating that though away from Chrktchnroh the picture would always remind him of the many happy hour* he had spent in the Bt Albans Lodge. Bro. 8. W. Smith was elected as delegate to attend the meeting re Friendly Societies' Dispensary. Receipts of the evening amounted to £i IBs lOd. . The Lodge was then closed in due form, in harmony and peace.
