LANCASTER PARK v. OPERA COMPANY. Another match was ployed between these Clubs yesterday, and again the musical gentlemen were defeated. However they had two innings and appeared to enjoy them* solves a great deal, so that they will not leave Lancaster Park behind them with entirely sad memories. The wicket, we should hke to remark, on which the game was played, was not nearly so good as it would have been with a little watering. In fact the whole ground is beginning to «hown signs of want of water, and when really hot weather comes the turf will, to aU appearance, be in a bad way. Considering the ample means of irrigating the ground this condition of things is rather peculiar, and the Company ought certainly in their own interests to look to the matter. ...
