WYLDE has received instructions from Mr. Jeffs, to offer for sale by public auction, on MONDAY, JANUARY 16, all that valuable property, situated in Sneyd-street and Adderley-terrace, consisting of 1 acre of land, having a frontage of about 560 feet; together with the newly erected and substantially built Hotel standing thereon. WYLDE having received instructions from the Standing Commission of the Diocesan Synod to dispose of the materials of the Church at Kaiapoi, begs to announce that he will offer the same for sale by public auction, at the Assembly Rooms, on MONDAY, JANUARY 23. Nearly the whole of the timber in the above building, with the exception of the boarding, is of black pine, and is in a thoroughly sound condition. There is also a large quantity of well seasoned, wrought boarding in the roof and floor. The terms of payment, unless otherwise arranged with tlie auctioneer, previous to the sale, will be ten per cent cash on the fall of the hammer, and the remainder within one week.' The purchaser will be required to remove the materials from the ground within three months from the day of sale.
